“Mental Skills Training: Your Key to Confidence, Consistency, and Focus” by Kadee Gray (Above the Game Mental Training)

Do you dominate in practice but freeze up in games? Do you shut down after a mistake? Do you often struggle with a lack of motivation? In our daily Mental Skills Workshop, Kadee Gray (Above the Game Mental Training) will equip TABLA athletes with tools to replace the negative thoughts that cripple your performance, push through your comfort zone, reduce performance anxiety, and control your focus in pressure situations. Our objective is to prepare you for unforeseen challenges and help you reach performance potential through your own secret weapon: your mind.

Day 1-3 (details subject to change):

9:30 AM – 10:10 AM: Leadership Workshop

10:10 AM – 12:00 PM: On-Court Basketball & Leadership Skills

12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Lunch

12:30 PM – 1:10 PM: Mental Skills Training

1:10 PM – 2:00 PM: Position Stations with Junior Counselors

2:00PM – 3:15 PM: Team Practice & 3-on-3 League Play

3:15 PM – 3:30 PM: Debrief & Journal

Day 4: TABLA Community Day & Day @ the Storm (July 19, 2019)

The entire afternoon is open to parental participation. Come check out what your daughters have done at TABLA!

12:00 PM – 12:45 PM: College Student-Athlete Panel

12:45 PM – 2:30 PM: TABLA Tournament of Champions

2:30 PM – 3:15 PM: Player Session: Living Awesome (Athlete Leadership in the Community) | Parent Session: The Role of Parents – Nurturing Your Athlete’s Mental Toughness

3:15 PM: Dismissal

5:15 PM: Campers arrive at UW Alaska Airlines Arena

7:00 PM: FREE Premium Tickets to Seattle Storm vs. Las Vegas Aces

9:00 PM: Post-Game Experience (TBD)
